i remember those days where people try to hook up PC to TV but then found out it is not usable because TV pixel is too low and it really hard to see text.. due to this TV manufacturer come out TV with PC input and higher definition and refresh rate..
and now we had high definition tv that up to 1920 x 1020 pixel.. (they called-it full hd) so... do we really to have Full HD on PC? not necessary.. normal lcd monitor can go up to 1200+ resolution but people don't go up until that high resolution because it is very hard to see the text when resolution is too high.. the same thing apply here.. the most important thing is adjust the resolution to a level that you can see text clearly..
but for the hardcore who want to enjoy the Full HD experience.. no problem.. you can go up to 1020.. but please not that : 1.) you might need to adjust the font dpi because text anti-aliasing (which make text look smoother) is not possible when font dpi is too low.. 2.) Depends on TV setting on aspect ratio adjust setting (some allow to adjust normal / wide screen and some auto adjust).. for auto adjust TV you need to adjust the pixel to 1920 x 1200 instead of 1920 x 1020 because it readjust the vertical resolution..
(Special Section : Digital vs. Analogue)
what is the difference between digital and analog? compare film camera and digital camera.. film you need take care properly.. digital camera you need to worry about that.. but there is disadvantage about digital.. picture taken on low res camera look pixelise.. (but picture taken on film camera won't have this problem..) another problem is the response time.. that is why now we had full hd format and faster frame per second fps to counter the digital format problems...
