3G Internet on PC

I doing this guide due to request from a lot of people. Malaysia internet connection is very poor and the Wifi coverage is still limited. People ask I want to surf the internet anywhere I want is it possible? The answer is yes.. as long as there got 3G coverage in that area. How? Let me show you how to do it..

The first thing you need is a 3G phone and Bluetooth. (If you don’t have you need to get one) The next thing you need to do is to configure both PC and Phone to link to each other.

On your PC go to Control Panel, then look for a Bluetooth icon. Double-click it. Right now you are going to add your 3G phone in Bluetooth device list. Select Add New Device. It will search for the Bluetooth devices. Select the Phone on Discovered Device list. It would prompt for passkey, if you don’t know what to enter, just key 1234 and click next. What is passkey? I will explain later on.

You had successfully added your 3G phone in your PC Bluetooth device list. The next step you need to do is to add the PC in your mobile phone Bluetooth device list. On your phone go to Connectivity, then look for Bluetooth setting. Go to Bluetooth device, select New Device. It will search for the Bluetooth devices. Select the PC on Discovered Device list. It will prompt for passkey, a passkey is the password to connect (sending and receiving) both Bluetooth device together. Key-in the passkey that you have set on the PC just now.

Ok you had added the Bluetooth device. Now only left one more step, configure the 3G phone to use the 3G connectivity for Bluetooth connection between your PC and 3G phone. On Bluetooth setting on your mobile phone again, look for Bluetooth Internet, select your 3G WAP profile as default.

You are ready to surf the net using your 3G connection on your phone. Go to Bluetooth devices on your mobile phone, select the PC and click connect. You will surprised to see it work just like Broadband or Wifi internet.

Note : Remember to subscribe to unlimited data package with you mobile phone network provider to avoid expensive phone bill due using 3G internet. I will not held responsible for your expensive phone bill due to this.

Transformers

When we are all small.. there is one cartoon that we all are crazy about.. Transformers. and everytime I go to toy shop I will go and look for the Transformers toy.. and my dad bought me one since I like it so much.. it makes everyone envy.. hey look, I got Transformers toy hehe.. It is the must have toy and that time..

It was surprise that the manage to make it a movie. It is not like Power Ranger movie that only for kids.. It is one of the best movie ever made.. One thing that i curious about is how they can make a car transform into a robot and it look so damn real.. Transformers... more that meets the eye..

My short Windows Vista review

It’s been a few month that Windows Vista is officially launch.. So what is the different between Windows XP? Well.. You can only run it on a very good PC: Minimum 1.8Ghz processor, 1GB RAM, DirectX 9 compatible graphic card, Huge Hard Disk space, DVD-ROM.. Aero themes everyone fancy about.. Built in search ala Spotlight in Mac OS X.. Easier link to Portable Devices such as PDA etc..

It is nice to see.. but not nice to use OS.. The first thing is that all your previously bought application had compatibility issue.. the function had change a lot, people that used to the Windows function need some time to get familiar with Vista function.. and it is very resource hungry OS. And you suddenly thinking do I really need all these Aero, Windows Search, Media Center stuff but my mostly use application cannot run smoothly and even worst cannot run at all..

It need some time before Vista become acceptable to everyone.. What about use Mac OS X Leopard instead? :-D.. In the meantime, a lot of people already migrate back to Windows XP.. Aiyah.. Sorry.. Mr. Bill.. cannot use laa..

When technologies go wrong..

System crash again.. don’t worry got backup file.. whew.. huh?? “error unable to restore file” oh no..

When you want to look back the log file.. the backup file.. then only you realize that you forgot to do it.. or the system fail to do it..

Need to start from scratch again…
